It is a great honor to announce the participation of Dr Gerald Batist as honorary co-chair of the first Canada-Vietnam Health + Technology Summit!
Dr. Batist is a medical hashtag#oncologist and hashtag#molecular hashtag#pharmacologist. He is Director of the McGill Centre for Translational Research in Cancer, which was established to stimulate hashtag#rapid translation of new hashtag#discoveries in the research laboratory into clinical benefits for patients.
A major award from the Canada Foundation for Innovation/Fondation canadienne pour l’innovation led to the expansion of the Translational Research Centre into the Segal Cancer Proteomics Centre at the Jewish General Hospital.
Dr. Batist is a former Chairman of the McGill University Department of hashtag#Oncology and helped find and direct global initiatives in hashtag#Precision Medicine.
His scientific focus is therapeutic resistance, and he has 200 publications. He is a member of several scholarly associations, and serves on editorial boards and on advisory committees.
Note that he is also Chief Medical Officer of Innovation Exactis, the non-profit National Center of Excellence in Personalized Medicine whose objective is to improve the survival of people with hashtag#cancer by enabling the ecosystem hashtag#healthcare professionals to make decisions faster with hashtag#realdata.

Son domaine scientifique est la hashtag#résistance hashtag#thérapeutique et il cumule plus de 200 publications. Il est membre de plusieurs associations savantes et siège sur des comités de rédaction et des comités consultatifs de renom.
Il est également médecin en chef d’Innovation Exactis, le Centre national d’excellence en médecine personnalisée à but non lucratif, qui améliore la survie des personnes atteintes d’un hashtag#cancer grâce au hashtag#realdata.
